12A Frederick Street, Hillsborough
Situated in the suburb of Hillsborough stands a modern double-story house that embodies the essence of minimalism. With a design philosophy where 'less is more,' this residence blends simplicity with sophistication.

The exterior of the house is clad in dark vertical axon panels, creating a contrast against the light weatherboard and brick elements. This juxtaposition not only adds visual interest but also highlights the clean lines and contemporary feel of the structure.

Stepping inside, one is greeted by warm timber stairs that ascend gracefully, serving as both a functional element and a visual centrepiece against the black textured wall. Throughout the main living spaces, the rich wooden flooring enhances the sense of warmth while large glazing amplifies the feeling of spaciousness and floods the house with natural light. Dark features punctuate the interior, creating a bold yet harmonious contrast with the warm wooden tones. The textured wall reappears, weaving a thread of continuity and cohesion throughout the different spaces.

Carefully chosen elements contribute to the creation of an inviting atmosphere. The clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and thoughtful integration of materials showcase a commitment to a clean aesthetic without sacrificing comfort or style.
