Maria has a diverse background spanning across different countries and sectors. Prior to her arrival in New Zealand in 1991, she had already made significant contributions to commercial and industrial projects in the Philippines.
Since then, she has worked at various architectural and drafting firms in New Zealand, gaining in-depth knowledge of local building and construction laws and standards.

Maria graduated with both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Building Construction Technician degree from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines. She is a Philippine registered Architect, Licensed Building Practitioner, and has been a member of Architectural Designers NZ since 2004.

Before joining DDC, Maria refined her skills as an Architectural Technician in Australia, specializing in correctional facilities projects, broadening her expertise. With a focus on residential, light commercial, subdivision, and additions, Maria has a proven record of delivering top-tier architectural designs. Her proficiency includes conceptual design and providing detailed 3D sketches to complement working drawings for building consent approval. Maria's extensive experience and commitment to excellence ensure outstanding outcomes and prompt client service.
